Tell us about your favourite colour? Somewhere in between Derwent’s emerald green and sapphire blue, my childhood nostalgia reimagined.

What do you love about yourself most? My hardwired ability to be punctual, if not early. I think being on time is good manners.

Most unforgettable meal? The two-dollar pork and pickled cabbage tacos I often pursued on my single-girl diet living, working back in NYC in my late twenties. A god-send for budget, time and tastiness.

What is your biggest weakness? The finer things. My grandmother always told me growing up I had ‘champagne taste on a beer budget’, and she wasn’t wrong.

What do you believe in? Your life is a series of choices made by you. During a period of real self-awakening in my early twenties, I learnt from my choices in the hardest of ways, and it made me realise that I am in control of my life, and what happens next is all up to me. One decision can change the course of your life, and also connect everything that is meant to be.

What were you like as a teenager? Ambitious, perfectionist, self-critical, reserved.

What does luxury mean to you? Quality. Quality of time, materials, skills, ideas.

When do you do your best thinking? After a glass of red, the juicy kind.

Any one you’d like to thank? My mother Michele, a pillar of strength and determination. She is someone who is non-fussed, focused and full of love.
